I’m sure that most of us would love to have the best shopping experience without feeling guilty about spending money and going off budget. Well, I have news for you. You can actually save money and have the items you’ve always wanted without spending alot of money.
1. Research the price trend of the products you want to buy
If you love buying products of good quality but you cannot afford buying them at that time, try to study the trend of the prices for the product. For example does the price go down when the item is not in demand? Some stores stock items seasonally and discount them towards the end of the season. Therefore, instead of buying the item at the begging of the season you can plan to buy it towards the end of the season so that you can buy it at a discount price (i.e about 50% to 90% off). Therefore, this could save you alot of money. The downside of this is that you may not get the exact design or color of the product you want because most of will be sold out.
2. Research the price online and in your local stores
Sometimes shopping online may seem affordable and less time consuming. It’s best to make a thorough research of the price of the product online and in store before purchasing. Sometimes local stores sell the same product of the same brand in store or on their website and offer free shipping if a customer buys more items. For example: If you normally do your shopping at target and you want to buy a blow dryer of a certain brand, it may seem easy to buy it on ebay and wait for it to come. Whereas buying that product along with your shopping online at your local store may save you time and money.
3. Read and watch videos on reviews of a product
This will help you get and idea of the product that you want to buy i.e the quality, the price and where to buy it and a good price. When people review a product they give you different opinions of the product. Therefore, this saves you the disappointment of buying something that’s not worth your money.
4. Confirm sizes
Clothes and shoe sizes are not universal. If you are buying clothes or shoes online try to get measurements in centimeters or inches. This is because metric measurements are universal compared to country garment or shoe size for example size 8 UK size may fit a niche of people but because everyone has a different body figure then it may not be suitable the everyone.
5. Group purchase
This will work if you have people that have the same interest as you in buying certain items. For example: some online sellers or your local stores offer discounts or free shipping for sales of higher value. For example; woolworths offers discounts from time to time and free deliveries if a customer buys more items online. Therefore if you have 2 or 3 people who are ready to purchase items with you then you will save money.
